To update or correct existing content, include the following information:
- A URL or link to the page you are referring to.
- The incorrect or outdated content that should be removed.
- (If applicable) The updated content you would like it to be replaced by.
Incorrect:
The Director of Programs position in Ed Services has been filled. Please update the website.
Correct:
The new Director of Programs in Educational Services is Yamin Martinson. Could you please remove “Vacant” and add their name? The position is listed at the top of the Educational Services Department Page (/departments/educational-services/) and in the Directory (/directory/).
To add new content to a page, include the following information:
- A URL or link to the page you are referring to.
- All text content that you want to add. Please send exact phrasing.
- All documents that you want to add. Email attachments should be in PDF format if applicable. The filename should be the document title and relevant date (e.g. 911±¬ÁÏUSD-PO-Committee-Agenda-9-17-19.pdf).
- All media files that you want to add. For images, send as email attachments. Images sent in the email body or in google docs will uploaded at a lower resolution. For videos, send the YouTube or Vimeo link if applicable. Otherwise, share the video file via Google Drive.
- Specifically where on the page you would like it to go.
Incorrect:
Please add this PDF to the website.
Correct:
On the Nutrition Services page, please add the attached PDF right under the Allergen Information header and title it “Allergen Information for School Breakfasts.”
To request a brand new page, or to overhaul an existing page, include the following information:
- A URL or link to the page you are overhauling, or a requested URL for your new page.
- All content that you want on your new page, including images and attachments. As a general rule, the Webpost Team will not create a new page until you provide us with the content that you want included.
- General guidelines for how you want it to be structured, e.g. headings and image placement.
We recommend creating a Word or Google Doc with all of the content that you want on your new page, including headings, links and image placement. Include images as separate attachments.
